    What a pleasant surprise!

    Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I bought this filter. It looked rather generic in the photos, no brand name etc, but since it was less than $35, I figured I'd take a chance. I am so happy I did! When I unpacked it & inspected the parts, they felt & looked high quality and on par with my other higher end filters. Assembly was super easy & quick. I had it up & running within 10mins. It comes with sponge media of differing porosity, which is effective enough on its own but I chose to remove the middle sponge & added ceramic bio media instead. This filter doesn't have plastic trays to hold media, but you can just use mesh bags (not included) to hold different media types if desired.     Great Product for a bargain price...

    Built well, easy to assemble, low cost, solves a problem with a smaller tank. The 20 gallon Biocube doesn't have a large filter, it is also hard to add anything extra to it. If you go to the 32 gallon it is much better. Adding this canister will add about 4 times the filtration for about $35. That seemed to be an easy decision. The assembly was fairly easy it took about 15 - 20 minutes. Adding it to the Cube was a little harder, I would say it took 30-40 minutes. I was slowed down with recent surgery to my hand.

    Definitely recommended !

    Absolutely the best option for an aquarium filtration system, easy to set up and use. Once every couple of months, disassemble and rinse the filters and housing out with warm water, set it back up and go !

    Good little canister filter

    Does not seem that cheap of material as most say it is, pump is good, low flow tho so a 20 gallon tank is good for this type of filter. Easy to set up and the price was great. Can always add on a stronger filter pump if u wanted to increase the flow.
