Great little critter cage for 1 hampster
Hampster is very happy in her new cage. Can't wait to expand to another one, but this one is a great started kit for 1 little critter, could do 2 I am sure, but 1 is definitely comfortable and happy and it's everything you need to get started minus some bedding material and food. Everything else is included.

Crittertrail level 2 cage
Sorry to say, but this new Crittertrail Level 2 is not an improvement over the old models. It is hard to fit together on the sides and the old exercise wheels do not fit properly unless a tube is used in conjunction and the old tubes do not slide into the holes properly!!!! Also the wire sides are too close together denying access of any outside water bottles you might have. All in all it was a big disappointment to get this cage for my 14 newly born gerbils. I have no idea how a little kid could possibly put this cage together. The old cages were lovely and I thank my lucky stars I still have a few!!!!WWBSorry to say, but this new Crittertrail Level 2 is not an improvement over the old models. This item needs a new title.
This item is titled: guinea pig, chinchilla, rat. THIS IS NOT FOR ANY OF THESE. Guinea pigs grow up to 2.5 pounds and simply cannot fit. Chinchillas usually need cages the size of a human closet. They run around like crazy and also cannot fit in this cage. Lastly, rats also need a ton of space. None of the above animals can even fit in the tubing. I own this cage for my hamster so I know exactly how big it is. This cage is for hamsters. HAMSTERS ONLY. Even gerbils need burrowing space and would not be very appropriate for this cage. Product Sucks!!!!!!
It was stated that this product had never been out of the box. I find that strange considering the bottom to the cage was cracked in two different places. On crack started on the bottom and went all the way to the top of the plastic tip of the bottom part of the cage. When we opened this and discovered the cracks it was to late to send it back because we then had two gerbils in need of a home, cracked or not. Now I have to remove the bedding by the handfuls because I can not snap off the bottom to clean the cage. I am so very sorry I bought this product and will NEVER buy anything on E-Bay again.It was stated that this product had never been out of the box.
