I will buy no other!
The first thing I do when I get a new camera is order a Hoodman eyecup for it. It's the bomb for keeping the light out, and since I'm a left eye shooter, keeping my forehead from the camera body. It helps me to see what my viewfinder is seeing. Without it, light gets in the way and is distracting. I had a different brand on one camera...never again...it was hard and very uncomfortable. And worse in the cold. The Hoodman is soft and flexible in any weather, yet keep its shape. Also, the model I ordered had the glass in the center. All in all this is a very quality item. When Quality Counts
I have a D3s and a Nikon D4 and in the past have gone the cheap way and bought inexpensive eye cups from China for a few bucks. They usually fit and did the job but I decided to finally go for the Hoodman and can tell you there is a real difference... It fits so much better, it stays on the camera so much better and the overall quality is light years away from the cheap ones... Seriously it is worth the small difference and you will really like it better... It's a small expenditure as compared to other accessories so splurge and treat yourself to the best for $20... Keep the light out
I love this simple little gadget. It's like putting a hood on your camera to concentrate on what you see through the lens. It keeps out all peripheral light and fits your face very comfortably. The adjustability is great. It goes on all my cameras.
