Echo trimmer from late '90s, cut out too often, eventually not starting. W/Zama: first pull showed signs of life (had tried new NGK plug & coil: w/o any life). Shipping time was sooner than expected (am spoiled by prime delivery time, but there the $ was nearly double). Extremely well-packed unit. Primed the trimmer more & after a few pulls trimmer idled well. 'High' valve may need some fine tuning. Am impressed & optimistic with Zama purchase. New gaskets unnecessary.

My Echo trimmer runs like new again!
First off, frisbike is a great seller. They were able to confirm proper fitment on my Echo SRM-2100 trimmer before purchasing. Literally took me 4 minutes to remove the old carb and install the new Zama C1U-K52 carb. I filled the gas tank, and from a dry start, my Echo trimmer started right up on the 3rd pull! It purred like a kitten at idle, and the engine ran responsive and crisp as ever! No adjustments were needed out of the box. I've cleaned these carbs before, installed rebuild kits, took them to the repair shop when i've given up before. These little carbs can get finicky with age, but this was the best money i've spent so far on my trimmer! Way cheaper than the repair shop.First off, frisbike is a great seller. Zama Carb worked great with no adjustments!
Recently purchased this carb to replace an original one on an 15 year old (approximately) pole saw. Considered buying an off-brand that were around $10-$20 but I decided against it since $35 was less expensive than I expected for an OEM. The carb I recieved was exactly like the one originally on the polesaw, and it started up and ran great with no adjustments needed. Purrs like a kitten
I was hesitant to purchase this. My srm2100sb is at least 15 yrs old, and I figured it needed a complete rebuild. With the old (original) carb it would idle, but die when you gave it gas. I slapped this bad boy on, and it fired right up. It works like the day I bought it. Im happy I made the purchase. I also ordered the repower kit and fuel line kit. Ethanol-free fuel only from now on.

Echo smr2100 weed eater
Never buy a carb kit again. This is a ZAMA carb. Fit prefect, bolted it on hooked up fuel line and throttle cable put covers on, prime the bulb started on the 1st pull ran prefect, no adjustments needed. The differences between a new carb and a kit plus the cleaners you have to get there’s very little difference it cost.

Great OEM quality
Had an Echo trimmer that had been sitting around for years and just would not start and run right. Changed, hoses, plug, filters still would not run. Swapped in this carb and started on the first pull. Runs better than it did when it was new.
