Product Information

This fighting game pits some of the world's most famous (and not so famous) DC comics heroes against one another and against the forces of darkness in a series of one-on-one slug fests. Superman, Batman, The Flash and other Justice Leaguers are forced to not only beat up on the bad guys, but on each other and themselves as well. These fights are all part of alien emperor Darkseid's nefarious plan to rule the universe.<br><br>Justice League Task Force features three modes of play. The Hero Mode is for one player only and follows a comic bookish plotline. You must choose a hero and stick with him the entire contest, and after defeating all your super hero friends you must face Darkseid's allies Cheetah, Despero and ultimately Darkseid himself. The Player vs. CPU Mode is also a one-player game. This mode allows you to play as any of the heroes or villains. You can choose your opponent, the background and the difficulty level. In the Player vs. Player Mode you and a friend can choose any character you like, hero or villain, and then punch, hit and kick the snot out of each other. In every mode of play, the characters are capable of executing special moves that fit their comic book abilities. For example: Wonder Woman brandishes her Magic Lasso, and Superman is equipped with heat vision.

    Old school fighter

    Fun basic fighter just started messing with it. Good special moves, hust a fun sega game so it is what it is. If you want a modern game don't play sega, but if you like the old school it is fun time waster if you want to punch things as a super hero. Worth my $8.

    Justice League Task Force

    Justice League Task Force is one of meany games of the mid 90's to try and cash in on the popularity of one on one fight games. This market was ofcourse driven by the overall success of Street Fighter II. Many Street Fighter clones where made this one is average. Maybe a little blow that but for the Fan Boys it's cool. Those who like comics in this case DC heroes will like this one. You play as meany of the main DC characters Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Darkseid, Cheeata, and Despero. Don't look for to much depth in the fight system or in the animation. If you don't get a instruction book try to find a move list on line. The moves are a little hard to figure out with out a list of them. All things aside it's fun to play as your favorite hero. Who doesn't like to see ...
