Great reel for the money!
I read about this reel in a Field & Stream magazine where they conducted a comparison of a number of new bait casting reels This particular reel was tied for first place with another reel that cost four times as much. The review was no joke! This is an awesome reel, especially for the money and I'm planning on buying another one before the end of Summer. Very smooth and feels great in the hand. The reel casts beautifully and seems to have a really solid drag system. The 8:1 gear ratio really rips crank baits and spinner baits with ease.
