    Do your homework. You will be thankful you did.

    After discovering that my new Mustang did not have a spare tire, I decided to do some research and see what the matter was. It seems that most new cars do not come with a spare tire kit. So, after doing some research, I decided to go with this item due to the price in totem. Upon receiving the item, I was pleased with the ease of installation, quality of the product and speed with which the order was processed and shipped. If you need a spare tire for your Mustang, this is a great option.

    Close but no cigar!

    My car came with only an inflation kit, so having a good quality actual spare(a temporary tire on an 18" wheel) and a jack is much more comforting but the tire tool that came on the jack does not fit my lugs! I had to go to the auto parts store and spend another $23 for a 7/8" socket wrench. I have a 2016 GT Premium.

    Plenty to Spare

    Well, The things I found good about this product are that it is the factory original equipment for my car and as such it fit perfectly in my car. It was brand new so there wasn't any issues with it. I'm in my fifties and I don't care for these tire repair kits some new cars come with. by the time it would take me to figure out how to use it, I could have changed the tire. I was also surprised to find out the car didn't come with a jack or a lug wrench. This product came with the doughnut, the jack, the lug wrench and even a spare valve stem. It also came with the hardware to secure everything to the car. The only bad thing is it is not a full size spare. From the measurements I took, a full size spare might not fit very well if at all in the area for the doughnut. plus, I would still have ...

    Should be standard equipment

    I was disappointed to discover that my car did not have a spare, but only sealant and an inflator. That would be great if every flat tire were as a result of a nail in the tread. Since that is not always the case, I wanted the security of a spare in the trunk. My only complaint is that the socket is so thick-walled that it would not work with my aftermarket wheels, so I had to buy another wrench with a thin-walled socket. Everything is, of course, OEM quality.
