This perfume was one of my favorites… they stopped making it. I saw it and thought I would get it for nostalgia, good memories. It was new in box. I was excited to spray it. I was disappointed that it does not smell like I remember. Not sure why? Not happy with this purchase. That happens when you buy a product that isn’t in circulation anymore. I will not be using this perfume.

    Nice scent but to short lasting

    I like the smell of it but it only last about 1 hour and than gone. My Dad had the original one and it lasted way longer. Still, I enjoy the scent and it is a good price.

    Perfect for summer

    1881 is a light, fresh scent. The notes are citrus/herbal with a floral aspect emerging over time. Once the initial lemony blast quiets down it becomes a subtle background fragrance suitable for daily wear. It lasts six to eight hours and is one of my favorites.

    Maybe the best designer classic Aromatic Fougere ?

    1881 pour homme is a benchmark for fresh fougère. Another beautiful composition by Martin Gras. Creates the emotions of living in a house between the ocean and a pine forest.
