    Comparable quality at A THIRD of the cost. A Great deal.

    This aftermarket / "generic" odor absorber is the Real Deal. It fit perfectly in the air purifier. The construction is identical to a genuine AP1PKP. If you lay the two down side-by-side, you can't tell which one is which. The smell of the activated charcoal is just as pronounced, if not more so, than in the Oreck odor absorber. At a THIRD of the cost of the genuine Oreck, this item is a great deal.

    Its a good filter if thats all you need

    I git the filter thinking I finally found a filter I can use in my machine. A pone arrival It looks just like the old filter that came with my Oric. After using it for several days I noticed no difference than before I started using it. So I took it out and looked at it closer and realized that this filter wasn't the same at all. The filter that came with the unit had a charcoal filter that helped with the odors and other things. The one I bought did not. I am not putting the filter down it does what a filter normally would but its just not the one I wanted. I have several little dogs and they have there on room so have a filter with the charcoal is a must other than that it works well with dust, hair' and other little things like that.

    Fits Oreck XL charcoal filter perfectly. Deal was quick, shipped quick, good trade. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is I need to see that it performs over time and performs like the original.
