    Perfect for 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 42RE Transmission

    The harness was a great experience as I was able to receive fast with everything I would need get me back on track. The harness well packaged well brand new with nice thick cables and crimp connectors to help you complete the project with ease. I replaced the connector on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 42RE Transmission as all eight cables where bare for a couple of inches and all balled up SHM, the colors do not match up but the kit comes with a color code map for your model car which is useful but I just connected the wiring to match the previous numeration and spot on the connector placed a nice loom sealed and taped well and it worked out great. Good Luck if you take on the challenge.

    solved my problem

    quality is good. I'm getting old, everything I buy seems to be overpriced. It's just a short pigtail repair kit. long story short, if your insulation has failed at your trans. connector, cut it out and put this in.

    Expensive but good quality

    Really well made replacement connector. The wire seems to be of good quality as well. Pretty expensive for a connector but it’s about the only option out there. I definitely recommend soldering rather than using the included butt connectors.
