    Budget Minded 6 Core, 12 Thread Workstation Motherboard

    This is a Budget Minded Workstation Motherboard for the HP Z400 Workstation. If you're thinking of using it for gaming, consider a X5690, or W3690 CPU w/ proper cooling. It came with the v 3.54 BIOS that I upgraded to v 3.61. I'm satisfied with the purchase, it worked right out of the box once I got it connected to my case & power supply. Its probably better to save up a little more and buy an HP Z230 w/ E3-1231 v3 LGA 1150 22nm process 80W for a little more speed.

    hp mobo

    took some tinkering, needs atx to hp z400 adapter thing, didn't want to buy or wait for that so I just rewired my PSU, other than a few hic-ups it works great. NOT FOR THE NOVICE!. Hooking up a regular atx psu WILL NOT WORK. These boards take proprietary stuff, not the fault of the uploader, good quality product, just a few speed bumps to get it to work.

    perfect replacement.

    My old hp z400 started having memory issues, 2 of the 6 memory slots reported errors. Tried moving ram around, but the errors didn't follow the ram sticks. I purchased and installed this mobo and my problems went away :) *do note that HP uses their own proprietary plugs/sockets, so this wouldn't be a good choice for building a pc with a generic case and power supply.

    Good motherboard for a budget computer with the right xeon CPU

    Remember you need a xeon CPU and a power adapter to work with non-proprietary power supply. Otherwise good motherboard for a budget build.

    Стабильная работа, очень шустрый

    Хотя процессор и 130w температура 40-45 градусов. Если поставить процессор 5600 серии можно установить 48Гб памяти. У платы не стандартная распиновка питания 24пин, в интернете есть инструкция как сделать переходник, сделал без каких либо затруднений. Так же с обратной стороны платы железный кожух, который крепится не стандартным способом, у меня пока стоит не прикрученным, но люди пишут, что в хороших корпусах есть крепления для таких плат. Очень доволен покупкой.
