tastes like chicken...jk, thought it would be thicker/tougher.....feels fragile, like I need to ad something to make it feel like "snake skin boots" tough....what do I know about it, my first snake skin, gonna make a knife sheath with it eventually, glue it to another piece of thin leather to give it more toughness?? Chicken? LOL... snake skins 101:All Venomous snakes, are thin skin that is just nature at its best. These skins you have to glue to another piece of leather then they are thicker and tougher. Boas, Pythons etc. are by themselves thicker and tougher skins. The worst of all of those is ball pythons the hardest to work on. When we are working with Venomous skins we always glue to another piece of leather otherwise it would just tare at some point. GREAT QUESTION!!! Susan
