    Purchased New Curt 56040 Custom Wiring Connector for Subaru Forester, Item # 175241989425. Professionally installed. Passed trailer LED connector test. Worked perfectly pulling at 10 miles coffee pitstop. Failed 1st day at 40 miles, constant trailer tail lights on, even when parked with key out. Curt 6/4 module shorted 12v fused 24/7 input to tail lights output. -- 3 past Curt 5/4 without fused 12v always reliable, but this new 6/4 failed. --- Worse, this seller has "Returns not accepted".

    Trailer wiring harness

    Shipping was fast. Unit arrived in good order. Directions were simple and easy, hooking it upvwas a "Snap" literally. Once you locate the connector for the harness, its a simple matter of plugging it in and attaching the white ground wire to a bolt. Simple. anyone can do it. No cutting splicing or anything. It was simple.
