    Artistic temperament.... the printer, not me

    This is my second 2000p. The first I have had since Epson came out with them. This one I purchased on ebay, will be converted to a continuous flow ink system. If it works out well, I will convert the other as well. The 2000p can be a temperamental machine. It often requires cleaning in the middle of a series of prints. The ink can smear on the rollers. If there is a while of nonuse (two to three weeks) the ink will most likely need to be replaced, which can get VERY expensive. Thus the reason for the CFS. I do, however, love the quality of the prints! The large sizes are magnificent! I tend to push the printer by using "artistic rag" papers... not recommended by Epson... Some work, some do not. But I have been able to achieve some amazing results. All in all, I look at it as any ...

    Epson Stylus Photo 2000p Inkjet Printer Easy to use

    What I like about the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P Inkjet Printer very easy to use, print photos with beautiful colors, photo do not fade. Epson photo paper only for better result on photo. What I dislike, ink is hard to find TO15 - TO16, and that the photo take so long coming out, doing a 13 x 19, but it you want a beautiful photo it worth the wait. I decide to buy a printer that print 11x17 and 13 x19, I take a lot of Pictures, and I wanted picture larger then 8x10, making beautiful photo on Epson Stylus Photo 2000P inkjet Printer and the price was reasonable. I just love it.

    The 2000P is not for everyone.

    This unit is one of the older models of large format Epson's. The photos are superb and I have even found certain "generic" ink and paper that works perfectly with it, saving a lot of money. I do wish it was faster but would not sacrifice the quality I get. Anything done right is worth the wait. I've found in the ones with some years on them, that the paper doesn't always feed right and you must hold it just so. A small price to pay. The colors are so true-to-life and I've found that just one head cleaning, when needed, is all that's necessary to get perfect prints, unlike other machines that you must run a cleaning several times, wasting ink. If you are patient and true to your art, you will not be disappointed in the Epson 2000P.

    Epson Stylus® 2000P InkJet Printer

    This is an awesome printer. Will print high resolution archival photos. Maximum print size for sheets is 13" x 19". Plus it will print from rolls of high quality glossy photo paper so you can print a 13" by 6' or longer if so desired. It has a Parallel port and a USB port. The dual ports has allowed me to have two different computers hooked up to the this printer at once. This is still one of the best inkjet printers that Epson every released to the consumer market.
