    The Mack Is The Man!

    This is a movie that has stayed on my mind ever since I first saw it in 1990 or 1991. I finally decided to get a better copy than the one I have since my copy was not good. So I ordered it. My favorite part is when Pretty Tony (a pimp competitor) gets upset when one of his ladies comes in to a pool game he's playing in and she chooses The Mack (Goldie). I love the way his (Goldie's) buddy (played by Richard Pryor) consistantly has Goldie's back, which by the end of the movie, cost him his own life. I also like how the Old Head (an older gentleman we look up to) kept Goldie informed on who was after him, etc.,. Goldie was a pimp that was very creative, innovative and non-violent, unless you threatened him or was after him. Which is the main reason for his popularity and clout. The downside ...
