The Michelin X Green Eco series tires might pay for themselves

These tires are low rolling resistance and are still made in the 205/60R16 H series, but not in the 91V, hence my having to buy two used ones. I have these on my 2001 Acura CL type S. Not a real performance tire, but then again, the CL is more of a "gentleman's sports coupe" like the Lexus SC400 is to the Toyota Supra. They squeal a bit on spirited on and off ramps but I'm getting 27mpg out of a car with 230,000 miles. While the actual fuel savings might be infinitesimal, it can't hurt and 400 over the life of the tire would realistically pay for two of the tires brand new, if not all four if you worked at finding a deal. My fronts wore out far faster than the rears (typical FWD wear) so these had about the same tread as the rear tires did. Cheaper than buying all four brand new when ...

      Incorrect tire size shipped

The tires that was shipped to me were the incorrect size for my car. I asked the tire store to check to see if this was the correct size for my car; but, the shipped the incorrect size anyway to make a sale. This is not good sales practice. The correct size for a 2012 Ford Fusion is P225/50r17 not P225/65r17. I am in the process of returning the product!!

Best tire for maximizing EV range! It's very affordable used and has excellent tradlife. Traction is not the best, but is adequate. This tire rides smoothly and is fairly quiet, even at highway speeds, at which I mostly drive. Last but not least, the self-sealing feature on some versions can reduce extra trips to the tire shop for minor repairs. I really love this tire and have always had affordable, comfortable, and reliable long service life on all my EVs and hybrids for almost two decades.

    • Great Tire even Greater Price

These Michelin Energy Saver tires cam standard on my electric LEAF vehicle. I sought replacement tires of the same brand, tread, etc. and this webiste's price was considerably cheaper than any other place that I found. Tires arrived in 2-3 days and even paying 15/tire for mounting and balancing, I came out 40 bucks ahead, per tire, of the purchase price alone of the closest competitor.

Repaired hole in used tire. I saved a lot and it's better since the tread matches my existing tires vs getting just one new tire, so it's actually safer now.
