Make the 10/22 fit you
The one drawback of the Ruger 10/22 takedown is its size. I know it's supposed to be small for packing it away into its bag. But, if you are of anything close to average size, you will probably have a hard time getting a good grip on the rifle to fire it. With the Magpul stock, you can adjust the LOP to suit your particular size. I am 6'2" and was amazed at the transformation of the rifle. It now fits me perfectly and I am able to fire it comfortably without feeling like I am firing a youth rifle. The ergonomics Magpul designed into the stock make it feel like a full size weapon. The fit and finish of the stock are what you would expect from Magpul, beautiful! After installing the stock and adjusting the LOP, I broke it down to store it away in the bag. A Great Stock
This is the Best aftermarket stock for the Ruger 10/22 rifle. It adjusts for Any barrel, and the length of pull is adjustable to 14+ inches. The grip drops your focus to center on your sight or optic better. Attaching a sling is a breeze as well, with multiple ways to attach multiple slings. Magpul did an excellent job in making this product.

Beware of SBX barrell
The stock is very good. It’s rigid. Good weight for my purposes. Mine’s gray. I had to modify for use with a Tactical Solutions SBX barrel. It’s not solid, so if you shorten it you have to fill it in with something. Get this, JB Weld is the EXACT same color and is really easy to work with.
