    Good for what it is promoted for

    This knife will be very good for what it is promoted for. That is a whittling knife you can put in your pocket or backpack and take with you. I think it will not replace any knife in your wood carving knife inventory because the blades are to thick to do detail work. Also, I found I had to strop all the blades to get a really fine edge on them even though they were supposed to be ready to use. The large blade settles in the handle a little to deep when closed to get your thumbnail in the indent so it can be a bit difficult to open. With all this in mind, yes, I would recommend the knife. It is the usual fine quality we have come to expect from Flex-cut and I think it will last for years.

    Great all around whittling / carving knife.

    Finger nail groove is difficult to open the blades, and the wood handle inlay is poor craftsmanship, but what a great knife to carve with. The handle fits great into a large size hand. The blades are sharp and polished out of the box, but I did do a quick leather strop sharpening for a razor edge. Very nice knife overall.

    Awesome Whittling Knife

    Awesome knife for whittling. Super sharp right out of the package. I have read other reviews that complain it is hard to get the blades out but I can't see where this is a problem at all. I don't have any problem getting a blade out, it's a knife, respect it and you won't lose a finger. This is a great knife to start with and I absolutely will be adding other FlexCut knives. A great buy, you won't be disappointed with this knife.

    Great knife
