    Super Fast with no moving parts!

    My Operating System previously required 70+ seconds to boot to a Logon Screen. I attempted various tweaks but could not detect any major improvement, until I purchased the OCZ Vertex SSD. The drive is small with no moving parts and it was essential to perform a System Migration to employ the new drive. Once completed, my boot time approximated 4-5 times faster as compared to my older 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive. I highly recommend the OCZ drive and wish there was a larger, affordable model with at least 1 Terabyte of storage. At the rate of electronic improvements, the future will probably provide something larger and faster. This drive is highly recommended.

    Worth it, do it

    The time to restart my Dell Optiplex 980 (4GB RAM, i7 series Intel processor) went from 2 mnutes to 37 seconds. That was measured by hitting 'Restart' to logging on to having Outlook open and ready to use. If you have eliminated all the other hardware bottlenecks in your system - board, video, RAM, and you have a nice, fast CPU, then get the next major performance jump by upgrading your HDD to SSD. You won't be going back.

    Can't beat the price and performance is fine!

    223 Gb for $105, best SSD value. SATA 2 is fast enough, and its all my desktop has. Size allows for all programs I want to load fast. Great deal, I paid $95 for my 120Gb which proved too small.

    first SSD very impressed

    This is my first SSD i am greatly impressed by the speed of this baby, The package also contained everything you may need, simple install just how i like it. Very little can go wrong with this product.
