    Light, value, quality, and crazy good utility!

    This Spyderco Delica Flat Ground Wharncliff Serrated is great for a number of reasons. First, Spyderco delivers a great product, period. Second, the lightweight, affordable FRN scale Delica platform makes it a great value. And third, the flat ground blade makes for cleaner cuts. Great for things like slicing fruit/vegetables, passing through cardboard with less resistance, etc. The Wharncliff shape is great for straight line cutting, a good downward-pressure-lean-into-it cut. This knife would have been perfect as a straight edge - still flat ground - with H1 blade material (salt, rust proof). But since I also own the non-flat-ground version of what I just described, I'll have to settle for this one to go along with it, and use it for specific tasks. All BS aside, great knife.
