    Samsung

    This is my 1st smartphone type phone. It is great for what I need. No text, no internet, just a phone...does what a phone is supposed to do. One problem, I just found out I can't take it on a plane...due to the battery problems of late I suppose. Thank goodness I already had chargers for this particular model though.

    Great descent phone

    I've been using this phone for a week, seems descent but not really blown away. Coming from an HTC inspire user this phone needs some getting used to. The good- big screen, lightweight, fast with minimal lag. has lots of options/setting.fast multiple camera shots, notification lights has different colors for different messages. picture in picture in video mode but not for youtube, expandable memory and battery. solid design. phone cases adds bulk. The bad- battery life could be better, one setting fit to screen zoom in web browser, map loads differently,auto correct takes longer to use. camera takes descent pictures HTC yakes better photos, slow response auto zoom camera. difficult to hold while texting. overall its a nice phone

    Nice big screen and that's really all it has going for it.

    I had a Droid X and I use an iPad so comparing the Samsung Galaxy SIII includes those devices. Battery life is pretty bad...definitely need a car charger and maybe a recharge device, too, especially if you like a screen bright enough to actually see: the battery manager makes the screen really dim, especially for the internet...had to turn it off. More app options than for Apple devices, but many of them are poor. Device does not have as simple management for settings as Apple devices, and the Apple devices make it easier to actually turn off applications with the OS, instead of having to find an app to do it, or go into the task manager to turn off apps, as in the Droid devices. My Droid X and the iPad both have better cameras than the SIII. That is a disappointment. My Droid X takes ...

    I'd recommend the Samsung S3 for value & dependability

    Nice upgrade for many users. My wife loves it. Screen size is large enough so that you can actually use it! Internet, texting, bluetooth.. etc.. its all there. Good value cause its a little older so the prices are a bargain & the features are consistent with any of the newer phones, so you're not missing anything important. As with many products on ebay.. I recommend buying products here with a return guarantee attached to the purchase. You'll know right away if it has issues & won't be trapped without a warranty should it be needed.

    Clear phone, easy text, ease of picture and music transfer lots of features

    I just upgraded from the Galaxy s3, I took the Iphone 5s tried it for almost a week and wanted to love it but just couldn't. The transfer of pictures, music is ridiculous compared to the ease of the S3, the picture clarity was not as good. The call clarity on both was equal, texting was easier for me on the S3 because keyboard was bigger. I also didn't like the idea of having to give private information just to use the cloud or itunes which both are needed on I phone to transfer pix and music. Then to set different ringtones you need to be a tech genius to create them on iphone whereas galaxy it's 123 download and install.. So I traded it in and paid the extra for the Galaxy s5. My wife was also considering upgrading to the iphone then said no way, as a matter of fact I offered her to ...
