Just the perfect thickness and the perfect material for perfect film cameras ;) Really easy to cut, easy to stick in place (I wet the sticky material with alcohol to prevent it from sticking and give me more time to place the cuttings in tight spaces). Thanks ! Great product will buy again.

Had never replaced light seals before and this foam was super easy to work with. Be aware it is very sticky, cut the exact size you need width-wise and no more otherwise you might have difficult pushing the adhesive side into place without it sticking to the sides on the way down. I love that I have lots left over for future repairs.

Good quality but high density foam, much harder than the original. More suited to SLR mirror buffers than film-door light trap material.

Thank you for the feedback. Our light seal foam is superior in quality and the high-density material not only prolongs the seal life but also prevents cut by film debris. Noted that the light seal foam is unsuitable as a mirror bumper replacement. A low-density foam should be applied as an impact/shock absorber when the mirror retracts.

Must disagree with you on this, film-door simply will not close properly with your high-density foam, however it is an improvement on the soft low density stuff many manufacturers have used for mirror damping. If you have ever examined an old Bronica ETR you will no doubt see how the hard steel mirror frame takes chunks out of the soft alloy body casting where it hits due to inadequate foam damping!
