I don't know how this stuff is sold: by the 'jar' or by the weight, etc. But the item I received must have been stored or shipped "on its side" as it was only "half full". There was no indication of any leakage. As far as the styling cream - smells good and let's me style what little hair I have left at 76 and keeps my hair in place throughout the day. Plan to purchase when needed in the future.
