    It works.

    It works but is a little difficult to line up the resetter pins with the cart pins, but it can be done. I was a little uncertain if it was working at first. The light flashes at first and I wondered if I was making good contact, but I think that's just the way it works. You get instructions with resetter, although the language is a bit vague. My question about use of maintenance resetter being used on ink cars was quickly and courteously answered. Thanks for that.

    Does the job but needs clear instructions.

    This chip resetter does work on the 3800 ink cartridges but there are no clear instructions. You have to turn the resetter what would seem to be backwards, matching up the 3 pins to the 3 tabs on the chip. It's a bit awkward because of the plastic tab on the resetter, so it has to be tipped at an angle to reach the tabs on the chip.

    Good product

    I had new factory Epson cartridges that the printer registered as being empty. These cartridges were old but I wanted to use them. The chip resetter registered the cartridges as full, problem solved.
