    Made in China isn’t necessarily bad

    I see no problem with the fact that it’s made in China. It exceeds the quality standards exhibited in US- made versions. SS material in the blade makes a big difference, as does more appropriate colors in the handle material. Good job, Schrade!

    Not a very safe knife at all!!

    Easy to open very hard to close! Almost cut into my thumb trying to close had to wedge another knife blade into it to get the release to work!

    convenient

    I've had one of these in my pocket for decades, and it has been very useful. Just keep the groove clean so it can close completely, and occasionally oil the places at the base of the blade.

    Very Handy Knife

    Lost my other Old Timer knife, so bought this one and very glad I did. I only need one blade, and this knife serves me well. Really like the locking blade feature, and the small size fits good in pocket. Used a bigger knife of another brand for almost a year, but kept missing the Old Timer.
