    Great value. Fine knife.

    I own a Grandad’s Sharpfinger that I received as a gift the first year it was made. I have used it many times and it is still a great skinning knife. I wanted a fixed blade knife with a gut hook so I had confidence that This knife would be a great value. Looks great.

    Had one in my youth it was a great knife was sad a friend tossed in wood stove with scraps of wood by accident so glad I have another one now looking forward to many uses in the future

    For your young hunter

    Looks just like the old USA model but is made of high carbon stainless steel. Nice and sharp. I don't care for the hook. It could be wider to catch the hide and skin better. But it must work ok. Schrade has sold a lot of these over the yrs. I reckon I'll find out how long it will stay sharp and ease of sharpening it.

    this is a truly good knife old timer / schrade has always been a good quality knife for a great value and the warranty is as good as the knife, always have made a good knife, would make a great first knife, or your main knife for any situation. holds a great edge, this is my 5th old timer knife not only good for hunting also good for collecting. would recommend old timer to any one. thanks, and god bless
