Fits and works like original don't even need to lift the tail gate just press to open and the struts do the rest. The only thing I don't like is the opening slams at full speed it doesn't slow down like other struts so I always have to have my hand on to stop it but overall I'll take that Any day than it hitting on my head on the old struts and can't complain about the priceBest buy
