    Make sure your bulb fits

    This item is good quality as far as the materials and build are concerned. However I had a problem whereby the SES (E27) bulb did not reach the bottom terminal when screwed fully home. The glass part of the bulb was abutting the plastic of the holder at the top and this was not allowing the bulb to screw far enough in to make the contact. The bulb in question was an LED unit with a normal E27 thread. The glass at the base of this bulb was a different shape than a conventional, tapered glass bulb, preventing it from screwing far enough in to make contact. I eventually resolved the situation by cutting about 3mm of plastic from the top. of the holder socket. This allowed the bulb to screw slightly further in and make contact. I think this would have been the case with any conventional E27 ...

    These adapters give you the chance to fit most any types of lamp bulbs in your fittings , and are cheaper than finding out too late, and then going off out to find the right lamps.
