    hope they are as good as my old ones

    I have been using x10 products for over 30 years and these new ones are replacing units that finally went. the only drawback to this product is they do not work where I have transformers for my reclining chair and couch. Some kind of electrical interference does not let the controller communicate with the modules. I just use a separate timer for that room. This is a great product, of course when I bought the originals units they cost me a lot less. Oh well inflation. Hopefully the new ones will last just as long as the old ones.

    Work well but can fail after a few years.

    These modules work very well with the other X-10 accessories that I have. I use them to control fans to cool audio equipment and Christmas lights. I have had some of these fail after a few years use, although when they are ok, they work very well.

    Missinformed

    While the item was sold as a three prong plug that is in fact the wrong way to describe the item, what should have been done was it was a two prong because what they are looking for is not how many prongs plug into the socket for electricity but in fact how many prongs will plug into this unit which is two. I understand why it happened because most don't know about it, I still needed these and will put them to good use

    Works fine

    Good price for this module. Unfortunately, it does not work with the new LED bulbs as it does have a trickle current which causes a flickering LED bulb when it is off. The current is low enough that it does not cause a problem with most CFL bulbs.

    as good as advertised, buying more

    Been using one for a year, works great, buying 3 more. I love how it remembers its state (on and off) through power-out. And how it is immune to all wireless signals, which is why I chose a 40 year old technology. The AM466 definitely has 3 prongs in and 3 prongs out -- the reviewer who got only 2 prongs did not receive AM466. And in reference to another reviewer's comment, it can usually work past isolating components (transformers, phases, UPSes, etc.) if you can wire up one of BigJohn9944's $1 capacitors across the two hot lines.
