Construction is good for a lower cost alternative, but I have no complaints on quality. Installed on a Kenwood TS-850S per the user manual and provided no noticeable drift, if at all, on cold start unlike how it acts without it. For the price, I would say it is the best choice available based on the fitment, and unlike other options, it requires no modification of the radio.

What is not provided is installation instructions. The referred fitting method is apparently in the service manual. When looking at that source, the instructions refer to different markings, the covering, the SO-2 label stuck to the module obscures the fact that the module is not marked. Bob
