The hay rack was shipped just as it was… no bubble wrap, no box.     Overall it is worth getting.

    It's reasonable about finding bad LEDs and think it would work better on just strings of LEDs. I got it for trying to find bad LEDs on Christmas Display, which are seldom just straight strings. When you get the device to pierce the cable it will/can show you a batch of good LEDs. The single LED tester works good. Overall it was helpful in locating a general location of a bad LED, but getting it to pierce the wire can be a bit troublesome.

    Expensive but it does work.

    Once you figure out how to use it, it works great. We had 10 strings of LED's we bought last year and only one of them worked entirely. Now we have 7 of them working and one was used as replacement parts for the other 9, and still have one to fix if we need it. It does work and you need to watch the youtube video to see how to use it.

    Please Read before you buy...

    This comes with no instructions on how to use it, and does not seem to indicate where the disruption in the current is, as the light stays on whether the light string being tested is functional or not. It is also apparent that in order to test a light string, you have to poke holes in the insulation, thus damaging it. In addition, the bulb tester has tested several bulbs as working which will light up in the tester, but do not work when installed in a light string. The only thing that seems to work as advertised is the fuse checker, which is pointless as I can test fuses for internal continuity with a standard electrical multi-meter. Needless to say, I'm not very happy with it...

    SAVES MEGA BUCKS AT CHRISTMAS!!

    Folks! Run don't walk to buy this handy tool! Last year we bought all new LED Christmas lights from the Loews down the block. (Everyone has one right?) Used the lights for 2 months. Tested before they were put away and they worked. When I took them out of their boxes this year 8 of the 10 strings of lights had huge segments of lights out! Bought the LED KEEPER, followed the directions and REPAIRED every single string - avoiding having to buy brand new ones! (BTW: Home Depot and LOEWS will not return products bought in the previous year! So they get you to buy and use this Christmas...but after New Years Day NEXT WEEK - they tell you "store policy prevents us from replacing or returning products from the previous year." WHAT A RIP OFF!) BUY THE "LED KEEPER" and all your holiday lighting ...
