    The Knowledge is Worth the Money

    A must have reference book if you collect, buy and or sell H&R revolvers. I spent about a year researching various guns using free online sources and it was all hit and miss. Usually got the best info or info on close to the right model from answers in firearms forums about guns similar to the one I was trying to find out about. The name that kept popping up was Bill Goforth, either with in depth knowledgeable answers to old posts by himself or people quoting him and his book in answers after his passing. I finally broke down and realized that I needed the book myself and accepted the fact that it wasn't going to be had cheaply due to the limited numbers available and the small likelihood of reprinting a book that has such a limited audience.

    H&R book is a good read and great info.

    For anybody interested in the history and or acquisition of H&R firearms, this book is a must have. Previous to this book, there was not a lot of info available and it was pretty scattered. This brings it all together in one place. highly recommend.

    Invaluable if you are interested in the guns. The factory records have been lost and this book contains all that you'd want to know. I wish Bill was still alive so I could thank him!
