Buy it, you won't be disappointed! Excellent steel, excellent handle and great classic old west design. This is a monster knife with a great grip. The sheath is my only gripe. Nylon does not suit this bowie, it cries out for leather. Get it before they sell out.

Any time you buy a product from China you get what you pay for .The blade had a cold shunt.This used to be made in the good ole USA from USA steel not anymore frankly as a knife maker it is a piece of junk.Tried to make a knife from this like one used by Liver eating Jonhston,the plastic put off a strong chemical smell.also have a more expensive knife made from China and the plastic is melting.

Great knife for the money - a Bowie is only a throwing knife in the movies.
I own over 15 Bowie knives. This one is by far the most comfortable grip out of all of them Hands down. And some of those are pretty expensive, but none has this great grip.. Extremely sharp (shaves) out of the box, and easy to put a razor edge on it if you feel inclined. Don't expect a custom knife for under $30 and you will be happy. BUT - this is a great value for a large camp knife. I have never had to baton a log in my life and I was a paratrooper who spent a LOT of time in the woods. I would not baton with this except in an emergency. Good news it that it is NOT stamped "Made in China" or some other silly crap. It's just a very en enjoyable Bowie knife for what it is, and at this price - who cares if it is a real full tang or not? Good news? It is. The sheath is quite functional ... He's a fictional character and I doubt even Sly Stallone would wear out this knife. Lol, we used to call it "camping". Now everyone wants to demonstrate a knife by chopping down a tree or making shavings for a fire. Never had to do that either. I have a Bic lighter. Or matches. Enjoy this knife and don't let the snobs ruin it for you or discourage you from getting it.

I am very happy about the life time warranty. But even happier that the Cr17 character adds an even better hardness to the all ready hard 440 stainless steel. The knife takes a few more minutes to sharpen, but it stays sharper longer, and the edge won't curl up. You are going to love this knife. I have been in the woods with the knife and it cut first time every time as I cleared a path and cleared tree limbs to set up my tree stand and my climber stand. It feels good in the hands, it is very well balanced while working with it. The pointed blade is so easy to deliver the kill shot, but please keep this knife out of the hands of children, it will cut and it will kill..It will also slice watermelons with eas.I am very happy about the life time warranty.
