    A Beautiful Example of Engineering Finesse

    The EJ203 Subaru Boxer engine I received is in great condition. It was very clean and I did not notice any damage except for a slight nick in the right plastic timing cover, though I can probably buff that out.The alternator and power steering pump were in decent condition, but the A/C compressor was gritty and didn't turn smoothly, probably because water got into it and corroded the internals. The accessories aren't really important though for my purposes and are just included as a "bonus", so I'm not going to zonk it for this. I plan on rebuilding this engine, painting it to make it look great, and put it in my office as a decorative element :).

    Good clean ej20 short block to replace your tired ej25

    This is a great replacement if you have a leaking or trashed ej25 in your Subaru. Do note that you will need to move sensors, wiring, injectors, intake and exhaust manifolds, left cam pulley, crank pulley, and all front belt accessories from your old engine to this one. Basically, even though this is a complete ej20, you need to treat it as a long block to get it to work with your ej25 ECU and chassis side wiring harness.

    if you have a 02-05 WRX, you need this transmission.
