    Unique or just a lovable gizmo?

    Was not aware of this style of probe until just recently. I've really fallen for this littls" gizmo" style of oscilloscope probe. What makes it unique is the little box that fastens onto the vertical voltage amplifier input of your scope. The inside of this box holds the RC network that allows you too adjust your scopes waveform symmetry. These tup of probs seem to hold the symmetry adjustment much longer than a conventional oscilloscope probe seem too. In all honesty I really like to see the little "gizmo box!" If it makes you as happy as it makes me, it's well worth the price for a pair on your favorite scope. kip (Richard) Folsom
