    Byrd Meadowlark 2 knife

    It's my everyday carry knife. Spidercos are my first choice, but it doesn't make sense to waste money on a knife that can be lost or damaged when a Byrd knife will work just as well. I have 4 Byrd knives. I always have spares available because I can't remember which pair of pants' pockets I left them in. This Meadowlark2 is big nough to be used as a defensive tool, but small enough that it can be concealed in the front pants pocket without making it look obvious from the street view.

    Great knife

    Right from the first slice of a box, I knew I fell in love with this knife. Super sharp, unique closing, and one of my favorite brands. I like how it's pretty compact, and the flat handle is made of plastic. I tend to toss my pocket things onto the table, and the plastic doesn't scratch the wood or glass.

    Awesome buy

    Decided I didn't want to carry my $75 cold steel knife every day, can't afford to replace it... So began looking at sub $30 option. Looked at cold steel, benchmade and spyderco. Wanted a combo edge this time as I have found there are several materials that even the sharpest plain edge struggles thru. My main criteria was a linerless design to keep the weight and width to a minimum. Very impressed with this knife. Razor sharp out of the box, lightweight yet strong lockup. Love the tip up pocket clip, and I appreciate the aggressive grip texture. It's not AUS8 or CTS Xhp steel but at least it'll resharpen quickly. Very please with this purchase

    Not bad.

    Not bad for the price. Granted, not the top tier item, but I knew this when I bought it. Overall a good everyday knife. Opens easy, nice blade, I’m happy and would recommend it.
