I was expecting raw wood, but instead the body and neck have both been given some sort of sprayed sealer treatment. In the body's case that treatment was extremely sloppy, with drips and puddles in several spots. Compared to raw wood, I'm going to have to do about four times as much work to get this thing ready to start my actual finish.

Not exactly as described’ “much better” I don’t have 20/20 vision but I couldn’t find any physical flaws so I plugged it up and heard good sounding bass so it appears that the only damage was to the box that contained the guitar and that perfectly fine with me. This seller knocked off around $80 to the benefit of the buyer because the box sustained damage and he deserves a seller of the year award for his honest business practices. Even emailed me to confirm I new it was used. 5 stars

Item was exactly as described. It did have some VERY light scuffs on the back but was by no means damaged beyond use or in need of any serious repairs. Seller contacted me before sending to ensure I understood the degree of damage to the guitar body and gave me the chance to back out if I wanted.
