Ended up ripping the ribbon off that attaches to the screen. Perhaps it was to 5-10mm too short because it did not want to connect. Also noticed the item description on Ebay said it was for iPhone 4s & iPhone4 (I have 4s with Sim card). But the receipt that came with the product states "iPhone 4 | iphone 4 CDMA LCD" As I replaced the screen I noticed there was a bracket from 1 of the 6 vertical screws with washers on the side that was disrupting the fitment by which the Sim card should slide in.
