    Easiest sharpener ever used

    It is easy to use and it really works! I normally sharpen my machete with a triangular file as I go around but never get that perfect edge. With a few swipes with this device, my machete is nicely sharpened and I did not risk a cut on my fingers. I haven't tried it on my shovels nor hoes but I'm sure it will have the same effect on them! Going to purchase another one right now to keep as a spare.

    Good product

    Makes machete sharpening much easier. Really fits my hand well and feels secure. The finger guard area is a very good size (makes me feel safer when sharpening). The photo is me sharpening a two hand ("custom" cedar....lol) 22" tramotina from smoky mountain knife works. If you don't use a machete frequently and have the wrist strength...get a two handed model. Tramotina is the ONLY brand to get. If it doesn't "sing" when you ping it...don't buy it. This was my RULE for 45 years. That being said Cold Steel makes an incredible beast of a two handed model that is my current fav (giant flat nosed model...you could cut down a redwood).... Anyway, this sharpener appears to be very well made item. I actually clamp the blade in a vice and use two hands. It is light weight so you ...

    That’s sharp!!!!

    Now I’ve had my machete for 5 years. I have never sharpened it before. I used it to chop down large tree branches down to smaller sizes and when it got to dull to use, I just stopped using it. When I got this sharpener, I ran it over the blade 5 or 6 times and it quickly corrected and sharpened the blade. You just can’t beat the price and effectiveness of this product.

    Best Edge

    I love this sharpener! I use the smaller version and it gives my knife a razor edge. I use this large one for my machete's, hatchet and axe. It gives your tools the perfect edge and that keeps your tools sharper longer.
