      A timeless classic that should be viewed at least once a year!

      Sometimes you just have to get in the "time machine" and place yourself in a time where things were better. I'm aware that every generation had their issues but movies like this one, well they have a way of provoking a warm feeling. A timeless classic. Thanks to Judy Garland. She was a hard working actress.

      Meet Me in St Louis - Judy Garland & Margaret O'Brien

      Love this movie. Judy Garland shines. The costuming is sumptuous. Family life is adorably idealized. Vincente Minnelli (director) brings all of the characters to glowing compassionate life. Perhaps the best role of little Margaret O'Brien's young career ... the Hallowe'en scenes are sweet and spooky. Mr. Minnelli and Miss Garland fell in love during the filming of this movie, a true love that shows in both his direction and her performance. The staging is inspired, the color choices for the sets brings out the very best of Technicolor. Romantic, dreamy, poignant, bittersweet with fabulous songs, including 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' and 'The Trolley Song (Zing went the Strings of My Heart).' If only life was really like this movie!!

      Wonderful Musical!

      Wonderful musical! Beautiful costumes and colorful sets! One section might have to be explained to little kids: Halloween used to be very different than it is now, but you can skip that part. It's a classic, and it's one of Judy Garland's best!

      Favorite Movie!!

      There is something captivating about this movie.....the actors, the set, time period, the drama- all so beautifully arranged and thought through. Some of the songs are a bit corny, but they are adorable. Judy Garland is just beautiful and her whole family shows variation and charm- a classic example of how modern homes operated their busy lives during that time period. Just a beautiful job overall!

      An oldie but goodie!

      Had been wanting to watch this again after many years and it didn't disappoint a second time. The music is fun and fitting, the characters very real and the actors exceptional. Definitely not for the CGI crowd, but rich in so many other ways!
