Not just for Pinball machines
I found a Craftsman electric lawn mower with a "free" sign on it. Since they often need nothing more than new brushes, I took it home and gave it a try. When my breaker tripped it was clearly a short. I traced the problem to the rectifier, which was about $25 plus shipping on the parts site. I paid a total of about $7 for this rectifier and, so far it has fixed the problem. I'll put a total of about $50 bucks into the mower, what with a new blade, fan and brushes, but when I'm done I'll have a $150+ mower.I found a Craftsman electric lawn mower with a "free" sign on it. it's cool because it made me cool , it powers a 36VDC fan on my 52" lawn mower , found a unused alternator on my mower made a heat sink to cool the rectifier all good!!
