Patience is rewarded!
The surrounds were very easy to install, they work great, and should last considerably longer than the originals - given the materials used. Just know that it's important not to force anything & to be patient with each step of the process! Though I did these 2 for a friend, I re-foamed all four of my stacked Advents several years ago and have enjoyed every room shaking minute of music since...and they're all still going strong(perhaps I'll post a longevity update in the year 2030!). BTW: when listening to them, there seems to be a psychological gain from knowing I had a small part in the music's delivery chain. The Best Quality
These are as close as anyone can get to the OEM foam surround. These soft surrounds will offer the lowest frequency response the manufacturer offered. Stiff universal surrounds will not offer the same deep bass response these soft foams provide. My Advents sound as good as they did when they were brand new.

Good fixer kit with decent instructions.
Replacement foam surround for speaker was installed as per instructions being careful (as directed). Does require a little bit of patience and finesse in removing old adhesive and 70% rubbing alcohol was very useful in softening things up for removal. For the average audiophile wanting to fix this inevitable problem with aging foam surrounds, this is a good kit and has most things you need except a scraper and maybe a popsicle stick to press things into place - it is probably rated somewhere between easy and intermediate difficulty. I would buy this product again if and when the surround rots next time. This foam material is the ideal product to get the absolute most out of speakers that originally had it - don't even think about converting to rubber surrounds. :-)Replacement foam surround for speaker was installed as per instructions being careful (as directed). Flexible, properly sized, great sound
Great surrounds which allow for flexible movement of my New Large Advent woofer cones. There's no dust cap, however, I don't remove them and one is not described as included, so this is not an issue! To people who are just starting out, or people who are re-foaming woofers with less coil-magnet clearance, this brand might not be for you. However, I found this to be absolutely perfect. Something to be noted: many foam surrounds are not 100% the right diameter. This can cause slight tension on the foam when gluing it to the frame and/or cone. Being patient and continuing to go around the driver, pinching areas which have not set yet is all that is required.
