The instructions were a tiny bit unclear due to my wanting to use it in pair with a vortex crossfire red dot. Simply put to pair it with a vortex red dot, you want to use the absolute co witness mounting option (add the shim plate). Other than that it mounted perfectly and eye relief provides quick acquisition to your red dot. Very pleased.

I contacted the seller to which they said they couldn't do anything without photos, I provided the photos and offered the video link to show how two hands were required to activate the switches and they went dark on me for over a week. $40 replacement for a "new item".
