The Shape Long, Lean and Strong DVD was my first experience with any kind of yoga and for the most part, I liked it. It moves a little fast for a beginner yet it isn't an overwhelmingly fast speed, but one that I think I will be able to adapt to with time. The DVD recommends that you have a yoga block and mat but I only think that the mat is necessary unless you are very inflexible or have poor balance. My only disappointment with the DVD is that it is fairly short and I think I might get bored of it fairly quickly, but that can happen with any exercise routine if it is over done so I'm not too concerned. Overall, I think that if you can get a good deal on it, get it but I wouldn't go out of my way to look for it.
Fast speed yoga
I joined a Hatha Yoga class a couple of months ago, so I saw this dvd for lean yoga workout, and I love it. I like the fast pace. I never thought of yoga as a way of losing belly fat, but now I understand how it works. I would recommend this as a good workout for toning your core. 30min is just enough to learn how to tone, you do work up a sweat with this dvd.
Short but good
This video is rather short, 30 min. with a mini stretch of about 6 min. It's a flowing yoga workout that covers your basic movements and poses. Careful with this workout though, it moves a little fast in parts. Nothing special about it, good for a intermediate workout. I thought the bonus stretch routine at the end would have been longer.
This is not my hardest or favorite yoga dvd by far. But, I must say the more I do it and learn the routine the more I like it. Nothing really special about this workout. Instructor is ok . But just nothing super special. Workout is approximately 30 minutes long.
