    Clip for peace of mind. The fumoto valve!

    Fumoto valves rock, make changing oil way too easy. These clips add a little bit of extra peace of mind to thwart accidental lever movement. Depending on where the oil pan is located and whether or not an off-roader, would really determine if you want to even go with a Fumoto valve to begin with. Havin a few extra lever clips might be handy. To install, does require snapping into place. It is possible that this process could weaken the clip.

    Incompatible with Fumoto F316L

    This clip is sold as an accessory to the F316L but it cannot be used unless you discard the 90° L hose adapter. The point of the L adapter is so you can drain into the oil jug with a hose, but you can't use it if you want this safety clip. Those guys didn't think this system through very thoroughly, that's for sure. Also: I can't even use it on a Chrysler 4.0L without a spacer, which means the L adapter probably cannot fit anyway. The whole thing is super frustrating, they kill you with all this little junky parts that don't even work. I bought mine from a disgruntled customer, now I am the disgruntled customer! 14+ months struggling and still cannot mount this thing on the car, what a waste. TERRIBLE design.
