Unfortunately, it would not penetrate the lawnmower blade I was trying to drill with a drill press. The drill press kept stopping and spinning the belt. I will need to do further testing to determine if it is the bit, the drill press, or the steel that prevents the bit from biting in. My guess is that the bit is fine, and it is my drill press belt that is the culprit.
