This will replace the expensive Solid State one that burned up almost immediately. The Solid State unit had wrong gauge wire in it. I will say the first thing I noticed is the well-made not cheap box this unit came in. I looked over the Regulator and it looks well-made robust wire gauge looks correct. This is a nice unit can't wait to install. Nice Piece
