It pays homage to Gibson's Golden Era of innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 60's features a solid mahogany body with an AA-grained maple top and a slim, tapered '60's-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoidal inlays. It features a classic Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminum tailpiece, Grover Rotomatic "Kidney" tuners and gold top hat buttons with silver reflectors. The Burstbucker 61R (neck) and Burstbucker 61T (bridge) pickups are equipped with AlNiCo V magnets, audio taper potentiometers and orange drop capacitors. It aint heavy its my Les Paul
It is the Holy Grail, very nice action and tone control. I am guitar geek and will still play my other guitars but I will now have another arrow in my quiver. Beautiful flame and finish. I was a little worried they would not send the guita5r that was pictured and that I would be disappointed but my expectations were surpassed by the quality and beauty of the instrument. I had shopped for al long while and I think I got what I wanted
