    D'Addario's Great Sound Hole Cover/Feedback Cancel Device

    This sound hole cover is everything I wanted and more. Fits '70's Yamaha FG-200 PERFECTLY (4 inch). Recently installed a K&K Pure Mini under saddle mic and needed something to cut feedback. Was happy to find it heavier/thicker than expected, yet very soft and easy to install or remove.

    A glitch I should have noticed!!

    This item does not fit a guitar with a pickup that has been installed at the end of the neck which intrudes in to the soundhole of the guitar. I should have taken this into account....my error. I don't know how effective these really are but have been told by more than one person that they have a bit of muffle impact on the tone/sound of the guitar. Overall, I think they do what they are intended to do....so I rate them as o.k.!! Make a better evaluation of your guitar, etc. before purchase. The seller I went through was outstanding...no complaints there. Good luck and keep pickin'.....

    Great product, but...

    This is a good and useful product. It does the job. Easy to use and such. But here's the rub... Be sure to confirm (in absolutes) the diameter of the sound-hole cover before purchasing it. Make sure it will fit your guitar. The generic description of the product states that it is tapered so as to fit most sound-holes. This is not so. No taper. It could probably be best described as flanged. This cover fell right through the sound-hole of my Takamine - which is 4 1/2" diameter. However, it snugly fit my Ovation - which is 4 1/8" and properly fit my Ibanez - which is 4 1/4". So there's your "most sound-holes". Between 4 1/8" and 4 1/4". No more - no less.

    Fits perfectly in the 4" soundhole of Washburn Cumberland J28& works great!

    I've had serious feedback problems while playing in high volume settings onstage with a band. But not now since attaching the Planet Waves PWSH01. It does a great job of stopping feedback issues. The only downside I see is if you ever want to play this same guitar unplugged, there is some loss of volume and clarity when leaving the soundhole cover attached. It can be removed but fits so well, that you probably will not be wanting to remove it very often. But that's fine too, I just leave it in to play this guitar plugged in, and I have a couple other acoustics for times I play completely unplugged.
