I had been shooting with a Scott Sabertooth and decided to upgrade to a newer model. The Jaws is an outstanding release. Everything about it is high quality. The function is very smooth and crisp. Personally, I like a buckle style wrist strap. It is comfortable and secure without fear of "velcro noise" while hunting. I also like that the arm on the Jaws has a detent to keep it locked back against your wrist when you need it out of the way (such as climbing into a tree stand).
I like the calipers and trigger. I have not tried adjusting the trigger yet. So far the sensitivity as it came is good for me. Adjustability for length is easy. And the small incremental adjustments are good. I am not fond of the wrist strap, however. As you use it the strap it does stretch. I didn't like the strap when I first started using this release, but after trying it for a while I am getting used to it.
It`s great tool, I love it, but I`ve got at least two issues with it, for now. First place is the wrist buckle - it resists to tightening, I`m struggling with it. Second is a head rattling, man, that snake is loud. Great for practice, would I take it to the woods? I doubt
